Charming guesthouse with vintage decor everywhere. The common areas really impressed me. the sunroom was my favorite spot to unwind after exploring. Breakfast had many options, including some delicious local dishes. My deluxe room did have a small private seating area, which was a nice touch. However, the room itself felt cramped due to the unnecessary extra bed. The shared bathroom upstairs had water flow issues, which needed attention. I found the 1980s music playing in the reception quite loud in the mornings. turning it down a bit would help. Despite some inconveniences, I appreciated the cleanliness and warm atmosphere of the place.

Consider asking for an upper-floor room for better views and reduced noise from the street.

The breakfast stole the show—think fresh, classic Guatemalan fare that’ll fuel your adventures! The cozy sunroom is a gem for lounging after exploring nearby spots like Casa Nativos and Cafe Nativos. Plus, the staff are super helpful, setting the perfect vibe for your stay.
But, oh boy, we had a rocky start with our first room! It just wasn't it, but moving to the top floor changed everything.

Charming place with cozy vibes
The breakfast options were delightful, highlighting traditional Guatemala fare, and the warm, helpful staff made every moment enjoyable. The central location was perfect for exploring nearby restaurants and the park.
Unfortunately, the noise from the street and the lack of a room key for guests was quite inconvenient. Sometimes the bell for entry rang endlessly, which could be disruptive.

Wicked cozy place! The common areas were super chill, a great spot to relax after a long day. I got a delicious breakfast, too, and the staff were just the nicest folks. Oh, and the vintage decor? Totally added to the vibe! Just wish the upper shared bathroom had better water flow, though.

common spaces, private seating area, characterful design
The deluxe loft-style rooms are misleading now without the original amenities!!! Noise from nearby bathrooms distracts the tranquil setting, and the upper shared bathrooms need urgent water flow improvements!!! Turn down that 1980s music in the reception!!!

The charming decor throughout Casa Elizabeth creates a cozy atmosphere.
My stay was marred by persistent street noise that disturbed my sleep, especially in the early mornings. Additionally, the shared bathrooms had significant water flow issues that made it inconvenient for everyone. Although the music in the reception was nostalgic, it was much too loud and often distracting during the mornings.

I stayed in a Deluxe Double or Twin Room for 6 nights. The space was okay, but it felt a bit cramped with an extra bed that wasn’t necessary. The small private seating area outside my room was a nice touch, but overall, I expected more from the loft-style setup. The common areas were where I found the comfort, more than in the room itself. Still, it was clean and had a decent vibe.
